Broadcasting

Broadcasting and News Media is a special class for 5th-6th graders and an elective available for 8th-9th graders. This class is a fun, upbeat glimpse into the field of Journalism. This year, we have two instructors, Mrs. Ashley Free and Mrs. Jenny Camponovo. Our Elementary Broadcasting students have worked on learning how to interview, create graphics in Canva, film, and so much more. In Upper School, our students begin the semester learning the basics of ethical journalism and how to properly report a story. This class also takes field trips to visit college Journalism Departments.
