Secondary Student Announcements:

Announcements: Thursday Aug 18

1 Parking decals for students cars for the 2022-23 year have not arrived yet. If you would like to go ahead and bring your DL and copy of insurance card to the front office, I will make copies and give you your student parking decal when it arrives.  Students will be required to have a parking decal to to be allowed to park in the school parking lot.

2  If anyone is interested in participating in Bayou Blues this year, please let Mrs Ann Marie Myers know no later than TOMORROW!! Friday August 19.

  1. Our Lady Colts Soccer team will play Starkville Home School here at home today at 5:30
  2. Our Softball team will play North Delta here Saturday at 12:00. They will also play Prairie View following that game at 2:00.
  3. Our Varsity Football Team will travel to Rayville, LA tomorrow to play Riverfield Academy. Team will be dismissed at 12:30.
  4. Our JV Football team will scrimmage Jackson Academy here at home today starting at 5:30.
  5. All 10th graders will need to report to Ms Claire’s room tomorrow morning at break to vote for Class President and Vice President.
  6. Teachers…don’t forget to take roll each period and enter into RenWeb.
  7. Tomorrow will be Crazy Sock Day!! You can pay your $5 on Patron’s League website or give ck or cash to your English teacher. If writing a ck it will be payable to BA Patrons League 😊
  8. SCHOOL PICTURE DAY for 7th, 8th and 9th grade will be Wed Aug 24. Picture Day for 10th and 11th will be Thursday Aug 25.  *Seniors will be notified about their dates later*
  9. TOMORROW is the LAST day to sign up for baseball tryouts. Sign up sheet is in the office.
  10. Community Service Club sign up sheets are in Ms Claire’s room. This is for 10th, 11thand 12th graders only. Last Day to sign up will be Aug 31.
  11. If anyone has found any black and silver glasses, please bring them to the office.
  12. FCA will start meeting tomorrow morning at 7:30 am in the Cafeteria. Don’t miss out!! Meeting will be every Friday at the same time.
  13. There is a sign up sheet in the office for students who would like to take the bus to the Varsity Girls Soccer game against Pillow next Tuesday Aug  23.  Bus will leave at 5:15 pm from the school.
