Secondary Student Announcements:

  1. Any students who will be driving to school this year will need to bring their Drivers License and proof of insurance to the office to be copied and then you will receive a decal to be placed on your car. You must do this as soon as possible. Even if you received one last year you will need the decal for the 2021-22 school year.
  2. Teachers….please remember to take attendance at the beginning of each class and enter into your Ren Web. Thank you 😊
  3. Pep Rally tomorrow will be at 1:20. Tailgaiting before the game will start at 5:00.
  4. FCA will meet tomorrow morning at 7:30 a.m.
  5. We are in need of students to sign up to say the prayer at home softball and football games. There will be a sign up sheet in the office so please come by and sign up.
  6. Our Lady Colts Soccer team will play Adams County today here at home. Jr Varsity will play at 4:00 and Varsity will play afterwards.
  7. Any 10th, 11th and 12th grade students who are interested in being a member of the Community Service Club please see Ms Claire Marquis to pick up a form.

PLEASE HELP WHERE YOU ARE ABLE!

Show your school spirit, get your class involved, and cheer for our BA High School Football Team. We have planned several events to get you and your child's class involved this Football Season.   
  •  ***Friday, August 20:  Tailgating for the entire school at the first home football game. We are inviting ALL Bayou Academy Classes to set up a tent, table, and refreshments on August 20 for our first home football game.  Hype the atmosphere and get your class involved!  Tents can be set up for each group of classes.  Around Colt Drive will be K3-K5 together, 1st-3rd grades together, and 4th-6th grades together.  Junior High (7th-9th grades) and High School (10th-12th grades) will be set up on the west side of the field in front of the fieldhouse.  Tailgating can start at 5pm.  A bouncy house and snowcone stand will also be set up for fun throughout the tailgating and game.  Stay through the game, let the kid's play and cheer on the football team!  
  • Friday, September 3:  Spirit Parade before the Home Football Game. The ENTIRE SCHOOL is invited to  line up in the old movie theater parking lot (across from KnightRider Gas Station) at 5:30pm, decorate your vehicle with BA spirit and follow the line to shout, honk, and wave through the parade cheering the team on before the friday night game.   The parade will circle through Colt Drive and the Football field parking lot.    
  •  Friday, October 1: Second opportunity for Tailgating for the entire school before the home football game (starting at 5pm), Breast Cancer awareness night, and Senior Night. 
  •  Participate in the Football themes each week on Friday. 
    • 8/20 - Blue Out
    • 9/3 - Astro World
    • 9/10 - Nascar/Red White and Blue.  First Responders recognized at halftime.
    • 10/1 - Breast Cancer Awareness (Pink Out and Senior Night)
    • 10/15 - Homecoming (theme TBA)
