Student Announcements

1. March 29, 9^th grade students will travel to attend a performance of The Outsiders at the Greenwood Little Theater. This is a voluntary trip. Please have your money for tickets to Mrs Lawrence no later than Wed February 19^th.

2. Our Varsity Baseball team will be traveling to Starkville to play at 4:00 on Monday. Good Luck Colts!! The team will be dismissed at 12:45.

3. Congratulations to our Varsity Basketball Teams!! The Lady Colts were Runner up North 4A Champions and will play Brookhaven Tuesday at 5:15 in the State Tournament. Also congratulations to our boys on their big win over Pillow!! The boys will play Oak Forest at 6:30 Tuesday in the State Tournament in Flowood at Hartfield Academy.

4. There will be Golf practice Monday from 3:30-5:00.

Teacher of the Month

Our Teacher of the Month for January 2020 is Ms. Claire Marquis. Ms. Claire has been at Bayou for many years! She is always ready to chair a committee, start a new project, or bring new technology to the classrooms. Her level of enthusiasm is unmatched! We have all watched her with her new 3D printer like a kid at Christmas! She is the first one in line to bring new technology to our kids, and we are so grateful to have her hard-working spirit on our team! Ms. Claire, thank you for your dedication to our school, our students, and our technology. We are so thankful for what you continually do for our us. We appreciate you and all you do!
