Spirit Week/Homecoming

Spirit Days for Homecoming Week!

Class Tents for Homecoming Day

Each class will have a tent around Colt Drive (see map below.) Tents may be set up after carpool on Thursday before the PeeWee & JV Football games. Tents must be set up by 8:30am. Please be sure that you do not block Colt Drive during carpool drop off/pick-up. You are more than welcome to have food/drink at your class tent. We are asking that Homeroom Moms/Class Sponsors help coordinate the tents, snacks, drinks, etc. This is not an elaborate set-up like tailgating! The tents must be down and cleaned up no later than 4:00pm that day.

Elementary Homecoming Day Information

We are asking Homeroom Moms to help coordinate the tents. This does not have to be decorated and elaborate like Gear Up 4 the Game. This is for shade, drinks, & snacks. Feel free to decorate if you wish but please do not feel obligated.

Elementary Students of the Week

Teacher of the Month

We are beginning a “Teacher of the Month” award which will be put on by our gracious sponsors. This month, our Teacher of the Month is Mrs. Casey Andrews, Elementary STEM Teacher.
“Since beginning here 3 years ago, Mrs. Andrews has gone above and beyond in the classroom and around our school. She finds joy in her students and pushes them to excel and achieve more. She takes every task handed to her and completes it to the best of her ability. She is very deserving of this award and we are fortunate to have her here at Bayou Academy.” – Keith Aycock, Elementary Principal
Congratulations, Mrs. Casey! 🎉👏
