Week of August 13th

This Week: 

  • Weekly Announcements: 
    • Students driving to school: Bring driver’s license and proof of insurance to office to get parking permit by Friday!
    • If you are the 9th and 10th grade “CLASS MOM”,  please call and let the office know.
    • Bayou Academy School Calendars are for sale in the high school office – $15.00 each.
    • Reminder:  Colt Drive is one way only.  Enter from Crosby Road and exit onto Morrison Chapel Road.
    • Grammy Museum – Youth Leadership Council sign up for 10th – 12th graders.  See Bailey Runnels.
    • FCA sign up sheets are in the high school office.
    • Boyle, MS is having a community day on September 1st and needs student volunteers.  If you are interested in helping, please sign up in Mrs. Hill’s office.  Reminder:  All 9th – 11th graders are required to have volunteer hours (10 community, 10 school and 5 church).  Community Service Log is on the home page of our website.
    • Any students wanting to participate on the Chess team, please sign up in the office.  We will meet next week.
    • Basketball schedule has been updated – see the “basketball page” on our website.
  • Monday:  
    • Soccer game at Starkville at 5:00.  Team will be dismissed at 1:30.  Softball game at Indianola at 5:00.
  • Tuesday: 
    • Softball game at Lee at 5:30.
  • Wednesday:
    • Soccer game at Lee at 4:00.
  • Thursday:
    •  Pee Wee & Junior High Football games at home versus Mag Heights beginning at 4:30.   Pep Rally at 2:15.   Soccer game at home versus Mag Heights at 4:00.
    • Chapel at 10:13 in the gym.
  • Friday:
    • Deadline for parking permits.
    • Varsity football game at home versus Riverfield at 7:00.  Pep Rally at 2:15. 
    • FCA at 7:30 in the cafeteria.  12th grade responsible for breakfast food.  Bring $10.00 dues.  

Looking Ahead:

School day pictures:  August 22nd:  7th & 8th grade;  August 23rd; 9th, 10th & 11th grades.  Wear uniforms – do not wear white shirts!
